About the Author
Marina Grigoryan is a classically trained pianist and master educator from Moscow with over thirty-five years of teaching experience in piano, voice, music theory, ear training, harmony, improvisation, and composition. A graduate of the Faculty of Music at Moscow State Pedagogical University, she also specialized in educational psychology, art therapy, and music therapy—training that allows her to understand not just how people learn, but why they shut down or thrive at the piano (or other instruments) and in music generally. She went on to refine her craft at the Moscow Jazz College, where a deep love of jazz and creative improvisation became central to her teaching.
Marina has taught at multiple universities, worked at Sony Music Entertainment, and coached thousands of students worldwide, from absolute beginners to high-stakes performers, including theatre and film actors who must sing and play on stage. She has a particular knack for leading groups and creating powerful transformations in students’ confidence and musical expression.
Known for welcoming students who have been labeled “difficult” or who previously “failed” at music, she helps them experience fast, joyful breakthroughs. Marina’s Complete FAST Music Method™ is designed to give beginners real musical success in minutes—even if they have never read music before.
